Ziva the sea turtle is getting a new home in Arizona after a 2010 boat injury left her unable to return to the wild.
Ziva is a green sea turtle that was rescued from Florida and will be introduced to the Arizona public soon at the Sea Life Aquarium at AZ Mills. She was badly injured by a boat and can’t swim without some sort of equipment on her shell, so she will not survive in the wild. Ziva is the first green sea turtle in Arizona.
