Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek opens its orchards four days per week each May for pick-it-yourself produce. The fourth-generation working farm and agritainment empire also hosts its annual Peach Festival the next two weekends.

Mark Schnepf is going through the approval process for the San Tan Memorial Gardens cemetery which will be built on 40 acres of his land in Queen Creek. This would be the first cemetery in Queen Creek.

You wouldn’t know it from all the parking lots and shopping centers in our immediate vicinity, but out on the fringe of suburbia, acres of peaches are growing fat and juicy in the warm spring sunshine.
