    The homecoming parade was all set to start the year Jennifer Fry Touton was a freshman at Saguaro High School, but disaster struck. An eye fell out of the Sabercat mascot on one of the parade floats, knocking the homecoming queen unconscious, Fry Touton said. The parade was canceled.

    Saguaro High School principal Ty Timbrooks is resigning effective Dec. 22. Timbrooks cited personal reasons for resigning, according to a news release sent out by the Scottsdale Unified School District late Wednesday.
