    In regard to Linda Turley-Hansen’s guest column, April 15, I am disappointed that Ms. Turley-Hansen chose to “pile on” without the “professional mode of assessing both candidates” or, in this case, a fair assessment of what Hilary Rosen said after she proclaimed that Romney’s wife “has actually never worked a day in her life,” which was, “She’s never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing, in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school, and why do we worry about their future.” Rosen’s ideas are true.

    Well folks, the campaign has fully begun, launched by female drama; one woman publicly attacking another. However, it didn’t turn out quite the way Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen apparently hoped. Some say she got her talking orders directly from the White House when she attacked Ann Romney Wednesday night on CNN. But my guess is she didn’t need directions, she seemed comfortable in her strident remarks.

    AIKEN, S.C. - A woman has proven through DNA testing that she is a child of the late James Brown, said a longtime adviser to the soul singer. The woman is the third person to determine through DNA testing done after Brown's death that the singer is their father, Buddy Dallas told The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle on Monday.
