“Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured, but not everyone must prove they are a citizen.”
Eighty-two-thousand instead of 120,000 this week. One million Americans have given up even looking for non-existant jobs. Obama promised that his stimulus package would keep Unemployment down below 8 percent. The White House and the Democrats in the Senate and Congress said the stimulus would lower unemployment to 6 percent. Folks, we have an America in “free fall.” An America saddled with a $15 trillion Obama deficit. An America headed for the “poor house”, a third-world economy.
The decision of the Supreme Court regarding Arizona trying to defend itself from foreign attack, smacks of political pressure. It is my “over the top” thought that Obama insisted on this victory or else the mandatory aspect of Obama Care would stand. I think that Justice Roberts felt that the repeal of mandatory health insurance was more important than Arizona’s right to protect its borders. I would love to subpoena all of the Justices to find out how much of their decision making relates to the US Constitution and how much is determined by loyal liberals doing the bidding of Barrack Hussein Obama II.
The United States Department of Labor has withdrawn a proposed bill that would have affected children under the age of 16 who work in agricultural jobs, an action praised by the Arizona Farm Bureau.
Barack Obama’s open-mic comments to Russian President Medvedev gave us a terrifying insight into the true mindset of our president.
Very strange how the media screamed about the amount of time it took President Bush to send FEMA and government workers and government aid to the individuals who lost their homes, etc. when the hurricane hit New Orleans. Why have we not heard a peep from the media in the past few years while the tornadoes devastated the middle of our country. Why is it that the media showed, and told, of the devastation caused to the hundreds of homes and the individuals living in the states who lost everything they owned to mother nature, but never questioned why the Obama government was not on the scene the very next day, and why the Obama government did not supply homes for those who lost their home and all their belongings in the horrific weather in the past three years?
"Well our local Liberal-Progressive-Democrat Anti-Conservative ‘adult newspaper' finally ‘outed' Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu. The paper had been hinting at him not being married for some time now. Funny, they never went after a certain Democrat governor all the years that she was in office. It seems that our local newspaper and TV media have different reporting standards for liberals than they do for conservatives."
"Got an email from ‘The Hon. Russell Pearce' so I asked my grand kids what ‘The Hon.' meant. Rosealita said he was obviously a big fan of the ‘Star Wars' dude Hon Solo. Humberto said it related to his genealogy, him being related to Attila the Hon. What think you dear Venters?"
"So someone thinks Indians live on handouts? Did you study history? The government forced Indians onto that land through treaties of which they broke."
Why was Barack Hussein Obama elected in 2008?
I agree with the title of the letter from Dale Whiting: It isn't really a question of choice regarding President Obama's fiat to penalize religious institutions.
Well, we have seen 10-plus assorted letters to the editor, columnist's columns and Vents all portraying the president as a victim of a horrendous insult. What a hoot?
Gov. Brewer is NOT an embrassement to Arizona. You, your paper is the embrassement, President Obama is an embrassement to the United States. At least you, your paper and Obama are on the same page - the lies you spew, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I don't understand WHY we have to be so concerned about the Latino vote.. Does Mexico get concerned about the American vote at their elections?
"It was as though President Obama thought he would lecture me and I would learn at his knee," Gov Brewer said. "He was patronizing." No, Jan. In response to your writing a book called "Scorpions for Breakfast, My Fight Against Special Interests [getting kickbacks from friends who run privately managed state prisons] Liberal Media [who report on those kickbacks] and Cynical Politicos [who call you out for your brain freezes]" you got a lecture on Constitutional Law from a Constitutional Law professor. The President did you a favor. Enroll in law school and you'll get such lectures on almost a daily basis. Getting that lecture in private beats getting it on the tarmac or through the liberal media!
On the way home, I listened to the radio report of the interaction between President Obama and Gov. Brewer. I also heard an on-air interview with Gov. Brewer.
A couple of observations from somewhere east of Eden, er, Phoenix ...
"Everywhere I go, all I see is our younger generation walking around looking like cell-phone zombies. Is it just me or are others of you out there as concerned as I am?"
WASHINGTON -- Declaring the American dream under siege, President Barack Obama delivered a populist challenge Tuesday night to shrink the gap between rich and poor, promising to tax the wealthy more and help jobless Americans get work and hang onto their homes. Seeking re-election and needing results, the president invited Republicans to join him but warned, "I intend to fight."
WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama has resorted to "extremism" with stifling, anti-growth policies and sought to divide Americans, not unite them, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels said Tuesday in the formal Republican response to the president's State of the Union address.
"The Border Patrol announced they will toughen policies. Duh, it's an election year and the Spectator in Chief wants to score points without actually doing anything."
Much like one of his predecessors, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Barack Obama has all but declared war on the United States Supreme Court.
We all remember President Obama's campaign promise of "transparency" in government. Just a day after he was inaugurated as our 44th President of the United States, he promised us a new era of "openness in the government."
WASHINGTON -- The White House says President Barack Obama plans to travel to five states critical to his re-election campaign following next week's State of the Union address.
"You've got to be kidding me. At the governor's state of the state speech, there were protesters from the left that were both protesting killing animals for hunting, and supporting abortion at the same time? And they have the nerve to call conservatives crazy!"
