    CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a Casa Grande man who fled from a traffic stop and was later found in a Samurai-style sword in his possession.

    Pinal County Sheriff's officials say 31-year-old Albert Tejeda is facing charges of felony flight and misconduct involving weapons. They say he is prohibited from possession weapons stemming from previous felony convictions.

    A sheriff's patrol deputy pulled over the car Tejeda was driving Monday in Casa Grande. But they say he got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

    Authorities say he was eventually located walking down a street carrying a duffel bag with a sword sticking out.

    They say Tejeda refused to surrender. A K-9 unit was sent in and Tejeda was arrested.

    It was unclear Wednesday whether Tejeda has a lawyer for his case.
