FILE - In this Jan. 15, 2012 file photo, US Airways CEO and Chairman Doug Parker applauds the crew of flight 1549 in New York. Since American's parent AMR Corp. filed for bankruptcy last November, Parker has been aggressively promoting a combination of the two airlines as the only way to save American. Parker has championed the idea on Wall Street, in the media and lined up support from the three labor unions at American. Investors have treated the possibility as a near inevitability, pushing shares of US Airways Group Inc. up 160 percent over the past seven months. (AP Photo/Stephen Chernin)

  • article Lemire: 'Parker' is rather perfunctory

    Friday, January 25, 2013 12:45 am

"Parker" plays like the bloodiest promotional video ever made for Palm Beach tourism. Stabbings, explosions and furniture-smashing brawls occur at some of the ritziest (and name-checked) locations within the sun-splashed, pastel-soaked slab of Florida opulence. Kinda gives a whole new meaning to the idea of The Breakers.
