DENVER — President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney come face to face for the first time in this presidential campaign Wednesday night for a nationally televised debate that will give millions of Americans a chance to size up two fierce competitors in a moment of high-risk theater.

Mitt Romney’s stance on immigration is not on the same page as his religion. It should be vividly noted especially here in Arizona, the church neither discriminates against the undocumented nor denies them access to a Mormon temple or to any of the ordinances prescribed for adherents of the LDS faith.

Michelle Dresbold knows more about the presidential candidates than most people.

Mitt Romney would like the middle class to vote for him but, looking at his record, this would be a disaster for the middle class and all of America.

Shut up and drive!”

PHOENIX — Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney swept Arizona's GOP primary with support from a broad cross section of voters who said they were focused on the economy, not immigration or the equally divisive issue of immigration.

“‘You get to ask the questions you want. I get to give the answers I want.’ That quote could have come from the current U.S. President, not a GOP candidate attempting to be open.”

On Wednesday, I got to see the four candidates from the Republican Party for president, and I am completely disgusted with the hierarchy of the party. Ron Paul is more than likely a very good gynecologist, but he is certainly not prepared to be president.

Debating in Mesa, the Republican presidential primary candidates blasted the Obama administration on its handling of the key Arizona issue of immigration.

MESA -- The Republican presidential candidates are trying to avoid a debate on contraception and instead are looking to keep the focus of their criticism on President Barack Obama.
