Casey is a bundle of energy, joy and love! She just wants to play, play, play. She likes to play with toys, other dogs and has recently discovered the joys of going on walks. She trots along stopping to enjoy the latest smells. This is a far cry from the scared and timid dog that was rescued from the kill list. Sometimes Casey is scared of loud noises and shy of strangers, but after a few seconds she gets over that and just wants to be held and then she is off to play. She’s quite animated and brings a lot of laughter to her foster family with her sweet personality. Casey is an active gal and she will need a very active lifestyle. A walk around the block won’t work for this spry gal. Another young, active dog is ideal for Casey as she enjoys their companionship and it helps to continue to build her confidence.

There’s a lot of “Gump” in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” This meandering parable about a man born old who ages into adulthood, then youth and finally infancy, is a film that meditates on love, aging, death, each to its season. Since it was written by the same fellow (Eric Roth) who adapted “Forrest Gump,” “Button” has many “Gump” characteristics.

If you’re like most people, you probably recall your family holidays not only by memorable gifts and heartwarming traditions, but by the snide comments your passiveaggressive mother made on Christmas Eve 1998 or last year’s infamous sisters-in-law brawl that landed your beautiful, basted bird on the dining room floor.
