On Wednesday, Jan. 19 the annual Kyrene School District spelling bee will take place at the district office, Ben Furlong Education Center, 8700 S. Kyrene Road, Tempe at 6:30 p.m. The winner of the district spelling bee will then represent Kyrene at the regional spelling bee which will take place at the Tempe Elementary School District office on Friday, Feb. 18. The state spelling bee will take place on March 26.
