    Apache Junction voters appear to have ousted Councilman R.E. Eck, who faced a recall election after being involved in a road rage incident. Challenger Clark Smithson won about 47 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s election, compared with about 28 percent for Eck. Another challenger, Elliott Fisher, got about 23 percent, according to unofficial results from Pinal County elections officials.
