R&B star Usher has won 17 Billboard Music Awards and five Grammys, and he's been nominated for three 2010 People's Choice Awards: Favorite Male Artist, Favorite R&B Artist and Favorite Song ("OMG" featuring will.i.am, one of five hits from his newest album). But accolades are only part of Usher's story. He nabbed the leading role in the 2006 Broadway run of "Chicago," is part owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has a best-selling line of fragrances, and owns the record company that signed teen star Justin Bieber. At the tender age of 19, country-pop sensation Taylor Swift already has earned several spots in music’s record books. Among her many firsts: The singer-songwriter is the first artist to have two top-10-selling albums in the same year (her “Fearless” was the No. 3 album of 2008, while “Taylor Swift” was No. 6) and the first female artist to produce five top-10 hits (such as “Picture to Burn” and “Should’ve Said No”) on a debut CD. Now, the Pennsylvania native has embarked on her first headlining tour with opening acts Kellie Pickler and Gloriana.

Bruce Springsteen saw his latest album, “Working on a Dream,” hit stores this morning, then followed that up by announcing a tour of North America and Europe on his website. The tour's second stop will be April 3 at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale.

After years of rumors and a series of fits and starts, seminal hard rocker band Van Halen has finally made it official, reuniting with original lead singer David Lee Roth for a U.S. tour that will bring the band to Glendale’s Jobing.com Arena on Friday, Nov. 23.
