    Ubaldo Jimenez likes pitching in Arizona, and he finally has a victory to show for it. Jimenez threw seven sparkling innings, Troy Tulowitzki homered for the second straight game and the Colorado Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-0 on Tuesday night.

    DENVER — Ubaldo Jimenez extended his scoreless streak to 22 1-3 innings with six shutout innings and the Colorado Rockies routed the Arizona Diamondbacks 12-1 on Tuesday night.

    Thirty-two years after his epic "Duel in the Sun" with Jack Nicklaus, 59-year-old Tom Watson took advantage of pristine conditions on the very same course to shoot a stunning 5-under 65 on Thursday at the British Open. He held the lead most of the day until Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez claimed the top spot in the early evening with a 64, only one shot off the record for lowest score in any major championship.

    The Chandler Basha senior won the Peoria Invitational Tournament of Champions 152-pound class last weekend, beating Jake Van Raaphorst of Phoenix Desert Vista 6-3. It was his second title of the season — he won at the McClintock holiday tournament.
