There’s nothing like a little music to soothe the soul.

After getting past No. 18 Ironwood Ridge in three games earlier in the day (25-17, 25-16, 25-19), No. 15 Hamilton ran into No. 2 Highland, who knocked the Huskies out of the second round of the boys state volleyball tournament, 25-17, 25-13, 25-18.

Her team found ways to stay alive for at least a few more days in the Division I state tournament, but Lindsey Collins wasn't gushing.

Down a run with two outs in the bottom of the sixth, McClintock’s Andi Blodgett smacked a clutch two-run single to complete a nine-run rally as the Chargers’ beat visiting Westwood 10-9, Tuesday.

On the one hand, it’s not much of a surprise that the Horizon baseball team won the Big League Dugout Invitational on Thursday night.

Cody Bellinger pitched a complete game, three-hitter, striking out 10 to lead Hamilton to a 3-0 shutout of Jenks (Okla.) in the National High School Invitational in North Carolina on Thursday.
