State Park Ranger Bill “Doc” Talboys leads a group of hikers through the White Tank Mountains Waddell Trail just after sunset. The park’s monthly night hike offers visitors a chance to see the park in a different light, literally.

Killed in the line of duty, Chandler Police Detective Carlos Ledesma gave the ultimate sacrifice in serving his community. Now 134 volunteers from law enforcement and public service agencies in Arizona will honor Ledesma's memory with the ultimate hike to the top of Humphrey's Peak in Flagstaff, an elevation of 12,633 feet.
