    Businesses are needed to participate in the 2011 Las Sendas Elementary Auction and Dinner Gala. The event will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 16 at The Trailhead Members Club. The Mesa school is hoping to raise funds to put smart boards in every classroom. Businesses can provide sponsorships, monetary/product donations or gift certificates/ baskets for the auction. Their eleventh gala fundraiser honoring Billie Jo & Judd Herberger and Wells Fargo Bank at the newly renovated Herberger Theater Center included a take-off on the very popular "Glee". Forty six Valley youngsters played to a sold out house and standing ovations.
