    Mesa’s Red Mountain and Mountain View high schools were the top two point-getters during regional Academic Decathlon competitions earlier this month. Several East Valley schools earned spots in the forty-team state final March 8-9. Representing Mesa will be Red Mountain, Mountain View, Mesa Skyline, Westwood and Dobson highs. Representing Chandler will be Seton Catholic Preparatory and Hamilton High. Representing Tempe will be Mountain Pointe and Marcos de Niza highs. Representing Gilbert will be Gilbert Classical Academy and Campo Verde High.
