During a ceremony at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Mesa, six members of the Mesa District’s Boy Scouts of America Troop 451 are set to receive their Eagle Scout badges, the highest ranking honor that Boy Scouts can receive after fulfilling requirements and completing community service projects. After reading all of the vents and letters in your newspaper on waterboarding, I chose that as my subject of choice. Now, I agree with all the posts that waterboarding is inhumane. However, it is significantly better than what our “friends” in the Middle East do to all of our brave men and women in arms. So, while it may not be humane, if the information we are getting saves lives then I am all for it!
