World of Beer will open its first Arizona location at noon Aug. 8 in downtown Tempe. The franchise features 58 rotating beers on tap and more than 500 bottled beers from more than 40 countries.

Local band Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers has no trouble filling a sizeable venue by itself. Add the lure of sizzling sausages, cold beer and good old-fashioned Bavarian-themed amusements, and you’ve got the makings of one giant party on your hands.
Autumn’s a great time to fall for apple appeal, with cooler temperatures setting the stage for the fruit to star in gently steaming pies and alongside fragrant roasts.
