First they came for the video games, launching an attack in April that siphoned millions of users' personal information from Sony's PlayStation Network that shut it down for weeks.
A new computer attack Wednesday on the Department of Public Safety hit only officers’ outside and personal emails and, unlike last week, not the agency’s own computers, DPS Capt. Steve Harrison said.
State police said Friday that they are checking the security of the agency’s computer system after an attack by hackers and they are investigating to determine the extent of the infiltration.
Q: If an organization like DPS can have their email hacked, how can us little guys ever be safe?
