Family members of the late Robert Brinton were on hand for the groundbreaking ceremonies of the forthcoming Chicago Cubs spring training facility at Mesa’s Riverview Park on Wednesday. Recently, the Chicago Cubs sent seven of their top minor league prospects to visit with fifth- and sixth-graders at Mesa's Emerson Elementary School.
