Big Mac is a big hunk of a dog and everyone that meets him just loves him. He’s said to be an American bulldog/mastiff mix about 5 years old. He had been adopted a year or so ago but recently returned due to trying to put the family’s pet tortoise in his belly. Thankfully Big Mac was unsuccessful and the tortoise lives to tell the tale.
During Candie’s time with R.E.S.C.U.E., she has developed quite the fan base amongst our volunteers.
Pippa is a sweet, 4-year-old, border terrier. She may be a bit shy when she meets new people, but with a little time, she opens up and shows her peppy, cuddly personality.

Mesa residents frustrated with animal problems in their neighborhoods can attend a free event to explore effective ways of handling barking dogs, feral cats and pigeons. The Jan. 10 event includes a panel of experts, a problem-solving workshop and dinner.
