Take a spin around some classic or custom cars to raise funds for cancer research. The Car Show for Cancer will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Salk Elementary School, 7029 E. Brown Road, Mesa.

Volkswagen lovers will want to head out to the SanTan Classic, an all Volkswagen car show and charity event hosted by SanTan Volkswagen and the Der Volks Bruckenaufbau VW Club from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20. All proceeds will benefit Arizonans for Children, a charity helping to improve the lives of children in foster care.
