    Dan K. Thomasson: It always seemed to me that there was a whole lot more to being a Christian than just believing in Jesus, that too many call themselves that without really knowing what it means and, in far too many cases, to justify behavior that is the antitheses of true Christianity.

For three days, they attentively sat as if the venue were a lecture hall. On command, they flipped through their Bibles to precise Scriptures. Poised male speakers slowly and boldly read the words and offered scriptural insights. Listeners carefully took notes — page after page of notes. It was a full Bible workout.
