Life hasn't been kind to Charles, a 3-year-old cocker spaniel. When the folks at AZ RESCUE saved him from the euthanasia list, Charles' ears were so matted with hair, sticks and twigs that they weighed nearly a pound each. He had a skin infection, an eye infection, and was so skinny. You wouldn't know any of that, though, by looking at Charles today. A healthy and very happy-go-lucky dog, he loves to be around people, to be cuddled, and to play.
