70th Annual Chandler Rotary Track Invitational
The Chandler boys and girls track teams both captured titles in the 66th annual Chandler Rotary Invitational on Saturday at Chandler’s Austin Field. That bodes well for the rest of their seasons.
Sherrelle Jordan and Ky Westbrook finished with the same impressive result on Saturday.

Chandler Rotary Invitational
There is plenty riding on the Chandler Rotary Track Invitational, which begins today at Chandler High. "You win this meet, you're pretty much a lock to win state," Chandler track coach Steve Carson said.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
In a meet defined by shattered records, it was host-Chandler's two squads that ended the 72nd Chandler Rotary Invitational as the ultimate winner.
Mountain Pointe senior Eamon Quick, shown during a March 13 dual meet against Corona del Sol, will be among the top performers at the Chandler Rotary Track and Field Invitational, which begins today.
BACKUP PLAN: Mesa Dobson’s Courtney Hayes clears 5 feet, 4 inches in the high jump Saturday at the Chandler Rotary Track Meet at Chandler High School. Hayes won the event with a jump of 5-8.
Allante Battle won the 100-meter dash, anchored the winning 400-meter relay, and finished second in the 200-meter dash as Phoenix Desert Vista’s boys captured the Chandler Rotary Invitational Track Meet.
After taking in the 71st Chandler Rotary Invitational on Friday and Saturday there is a lot to highlight. The biggest statement came from, who else, the Chandler High girls team. The Wolves scored 185 points in a meet that featured athletes from 109 teams. Granted, some teams didn't have athletes competing on Saturday, but it's doubtful that number would have dropped if everyone was competing.
