Registration is open for the second annual WCO Summer Music Workshops. Sponsored by the Wickenburg Children’s cultural Organization, the workshops will be July 11-15 on the Wickenburg High School campus. Over the course of any of the workshops, children and young adults have the opportunity to meet and learn from a variety of talented local musicians and educators.

The Wickenburg Children’s cultural Organization will sponsor the second Music in the Park on the grounds of the Garcia Little Red School House, 245 N. Tegner St., from 3 to 4:30 p.m. March 6.
At the next Friends of Music concert Feb. 20, Hutchins Consort will perform traditional, modern, and classical music on a set of acoustically engineered stringed instruments that have unfamiliar names, as well as unusual shapes and sizes. The concert begins at 2 p.m. at the Wickenburg Community Center, 160 N. Valentine St., Wickenburg. Admission is free. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., and seating is first-come, first served.

We hope everyone will find something to enjoy in our offerings.”
