Putting some corporate leviathan’s name on a sports arena is, of course, a saving of public dollars, because that corporate leviathan’s paying several million bucks to do so contributes to the cost of building and operating the place that taxpayers don’t have to provide.
For many beer aficionados, nothing beats the freshness and flavor of a microbrew straight from the tap. Many drive miles to brewpubs to fill up glass bottles, also called growlers, with their favorites.
World of Beer will open its first Arizona location at noon Aug. 8 in downtown Tempe. The franchise features 58 rotating beers on tap and more than 500 bottled beers from more than 40 countries.
Beer lovers, rejoice. The east coast franchise World of Beer has set it sights on Mill Avenue, with a projected grand opening in early July.
