    The Arizona State baseball team will travel to Austin, Texas, for a best-of-three Super Regional match-up with Texas. The Sun Devils swept the Tempe Regional last week, winning all three games at Packard Stadium to advance to Super Regionals. Texas, the No.7 overall seed, defeated Kent State on Monday afternoon to win the Austin Regional and advance to Super Regionals. The Super Regional begin Friday, with all three games will begin at 4 p.m. Arizona time from UFCU Disch-Falk Field in Austin. Friday and Saturday games will be televised on ESPN, with Sunday’s game three (if necessary) being broadcast on ESPN2.

It almost seemed to deserve an encore today. Texas ended No. 2 ASU’s captivating season with two, bases-empty home runs in the last of the ninth inning for a 4-3 victory at Rosenblatt Stadium. It was the Longhorns’ second victory over the Sun Devils here and sends them to face LSU in the best-of-three championship series that begins Monday.
