Rodger Schenks, left, and Jim Jones, both former coaches at Red Mountain have teamed up to coach at 3A San Tan Foothills. Schenks was an assistant to Jones at Red Mountain, where Jones coached for the past 22 seasons.

Schools and fans try and guess whether kids will be playing playoff football, and what has to happen or not happen for that to become a reality.
