The passenger side of a car is smashed as it faces south on the inside northbound side of 99th Avenue just south of the train tracks on Grand Avenue Tuesday evening in Sun City. The train stopped in the background hit the car.
This photograph, taken by undercover FBI officers on March 27, shows the damage to the vehicle that Attorney General Tom Horne was driving after he allegedly hit another vehicle and left the scene. Horne later denied knowing he had hit someone else. But the FBI reports that Horne had the damage to the car he was driving buffed out.

An accident in which the bus hit a pedestrian on the corner of Broadway and Crismon Roads, Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 in Mesa. The student, who was walking was injured and transported to Scottsdale Osborne Hospital while the bus was headed to Skyline High school.“About 20 students were on the bus at the time of the accident” said Mesa Unified School District spokeswomen Helen Hollands. Information about the student is not being released pending notification of family. The accident of the students injuries and condition at this time were unknown. “The school principal informed the students of the accident over the schools public address system at 8:30 am,” Hollands said. In August, 14-year-old Dustin Cote was mowing his family's lawn in San Tan Valley when he accidentally sliced off several of his fingers on his left hand. According to a news release, his hand had slipped while working with wet grass near the mower, causing it to slide under the blade.

The cause of a fire that destroyed a 6,000-square-foot home in an exclusive north Scottsdale gated community -- and caused an estimated $1.4 million in damage -- remains unknown but is not considered suspicious, according to Tiffany Nichols, spokeswoman for the Scottsdale Fire Department.
This 6,000-square-foot house in north Scottsdale suffered extensive fire damage Monday morning.
