Police ID bicyclist killed in Mesa collision

The bicyclist killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer on Wednesday has been identified as 51-year-old Linda Diane Cleapor of Mesa.

Bicyclist killed on Mesa road

The oversized tractor-trailer struck Cleapor near Dobson and Baseline roads about 7:30 a.m. The truck driver told police he had seen Cleapor biking along the north side of Baseline Road, but he lost sight of her for a short time as he passed through the intersection.

Police said Cleapor was pronounced dead at the scene.
