Napolitano exploring Senate run?

Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano appears to be taking her first steps towards a run for the U.S Senate, according to published reports.

The Phoenix Business Journal reported Friday afternoon that Napolitano and a group of political backers have formed a federal political action committee that would give her national exposure.

The Competitive Edge PAC has raised money for high-profile Democratic candidates across the country including presidential hopeful and former first lady Hillary Clinton.

It has long been rumored among political insiders at the State Capitol that Napolitano would someday consider a run for the Senate. However, she has consistently side-stepped questions about her running for a federal seat, saying she is focused on running Arizona.

However, the Journal article quotes some top GOP political stratigests as saying the formation of the PAC is the clearest sign yet that Napolitano intends to run for the Senate once she is term-limited out of office in 2010.

The Competitive Edge Pac has already raised nearly $42,000 according to the Federal Election Commission’s website.

Well this would definitely be the pinnacle of a career dedicated to destroying this state.

She joined the Council On Foreign Relations this year so we know she wants open borders North American Union...

Next, she has been actively working to build the CANAMEX NAFTA Super Highway, pushing through piecemeal bills slowly to build this infrastructure.

Of course you will never see an article on CANAMEX and its impact and purpose.

Then she has done everything asked of her by big business, all day K (free day care), flooding the state with cheap labor, no crack downs etc..

Now she did get to pretend that she was responsible for the employer sanctions law. But this is all staged, the economy is in the toliet, illegal allien construction jobs are drying up as we go into recession. This is what is causing the illegals to leave. So next year we should see the begining of a financial melt down that the media can claim was due to the illegals leaving. This will be the motivation for the new massive guest worker program and amnesty.

So to sum up between the Globalist Bankers, The Media which never reports on anything, the Gulible Build a Fence types, and her ace, sally soccer mommy, don't see how Arizona will not have the first lesbian Senator. Suggest removal of this comment

No powerful nation, with a burning desire to be great, would ever elect someone like Napolitano. She is a traitor! She should run for a post in Mexico. . Suggest removal of this comment

Mike B, are you undemocratic? She was elected by the people of this state and was using powers granted to her by the legislature of this state. Use of powers granted to governor, such as the veto, is the governor's choice. Is it different because she is a Democratic governor instead of a Republican one? Come on, grow up.
