Robby Gordon passes out race tickets to Arizona Guard

NASCAR Nextel Cup owner/driver Robby Gordon helped distribute Subway Fresh Fit 500 tickets to Arizona Army National Guard members and their families Thursday at the Arizona Army National Guard Papago Park Installation in the East Valley.
Phoenix International Raceway, site of the Subway Fresh Fit 500 on April 21, is donating 4,500 tickets to the race with the financial support of some sponsors to military personnel across Arizona.
Tickets are still available for the first of two NASCAR events at PIR this season.
Track officials are anticipating a sellout of reserved seats sometime next week. Itll be a full house, PIR president Bryan R. Sperber said.

PIT STOPS: Hall of Fame shortstop and center fielder Robin Yount will serve as the grand marshal for the Subway Fresh Fit 500. He will give the command for the field of 43 drivers to start their engines. ... Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio will serve as the honorary pace car driver at the start of the race and pilot one of the Chevrolet Monte Carlos that will lead the Nextel Cup drivers toward the green flag.
