Chamber seeks gifts to help seniors

The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce has committed to adopting 40 homebound seniors who are served by the Gilbert Senior Center and is welcoming donations from the public to help fulfill the seniors' "wish lists."

An average list costs $25 and may include a number of items needed by a particular senior. Those who want to help but are too busy to shop can drop monetary donations off at the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, 119 N. Gilbert Road, Suite 101. The chamber will select a senior's list and do the shopping for you.

To adopt a senior or for more information, contact Sarah Agnes at (480) 892-0056 or e-mail intern@gilbertchamber.com. All donations must be received by Dec. 8.
