Page Too: You got your degree in global studies. What do you want to do with that?

Eric Boateng: First off, try to make the world a better place. Secondly, the reason why I took it was to gain a full perspective on things. I’m just kind of random. I have interest in many things, environmental issues, poverty, global business. It’s just a fascinating major.

PT: What languages do you speak?

EB: English. I took Chinese one year in high school and one year in college. And Twi, which is the language in Ghana, where my parents are from.

PT: So do you break out Chinese to impress the girls?

EB: No. Only if they speak Chinese.

PT: You say you want to make the world a better place. Do you have an idea what you want to do post-basketball?

EB: Not really. I’m just learning right now. I really don’t know.

PT: Your parents are from Ghana. You’ve lived in England and the U.S. How does that shape your view of the world?

EB: There is an incredible amount of opportunity in America. My mom used to tell me, “Utilize it.” It’s a special place to be.

Your bucket list: I have so many. I could talk forever.
