Lois' next home ought to be a charm.
When this 9-year-old domestic shorthair lost her first home years ago, she was rescued and adopted out by Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary. Now, she's lost her home a second time, and the Gilbert rescue organization has come to her aid again, thanks to a microchip implanted in the cat all those years ago. Rescuers are hoping Lois' third owner will give her a permanent place to call her own.
Lois is a medium-sized cat with a tortoiseshell coat. She's very affectionate toward people and loves to worm her way onto people's laps. She also likes to be brushed. One volunteer summed Lois up by saying, "She's sweet as pie!"
Lois does not care for other cats or dogs and should be an only pet. She is spayed, tested for feline diseases and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you'd like to adopt Lois, or another pet in need, contact Friends for Life at (480) 497-8296 or www.azfriends.org.
