Arizona State quarterback Danny Sullivan practiced on Tuesday, and the knee injury he sustained against Stanford shouldn't affect his availability for Saturday's game against California.
Sullivan took most of the first-team snaps before scaling back at the end of practice.
"You can't even tell he was hurt," coach Dennis Erickson said. "He practiced good."
In the final drills of the day, backup signal-caller Brock Osweiler was taking repetitions with the first team, although Erickson said it was done to give Sullivan rest.
Osweiler will play against the Golden Bears, Erickson said in his press conference on Monday.
Third-string quarterback Samson Szakacsy was given more snaps than normal as he continues to work his way back from elbow problems.
"I almost forgot how to play quarterback for a minute," Szakacsy joked. "I haven't been back there in so long. I'm getting better slowly, and I've just got to keep getting better."
MOVING BACK
Linebacker Oliver Aaron is being moved from linebacker to safety, Erickson said.
Aaron, a sophomore, was behind a host of teammates at Arizona State's deepest position, and the position change returns him to the spot he played in high school.
"What he brings you is a physical presence at that position," Erickson said. "And he can run."
INJURY UPDATE
Cornerback Omar Bolden (knee) and wide receiver Kyle Williams (hamstring) are probable for Saturday's game, Erickson said.
Wide receiver Kerry Taylor (hamstring) rode a stationary bike but did not participate in practice, and his availability is unknown.
Center Thomas Altieri (knee) won't start against Cal, but Erickson did not totally rule him out from being a backup.
