Chandler police arrested two men Monday on suspicion of robbing a neighbor.
A woman was sitting in front of her home in the 200 block of South California Street in downtown Chandler when two men approached her, Detective David Ramer said. One of the suspects picked up her purse, which was beside the woman, and started to walk away with it.
When the woman complained, one of the men lifted up his shirt to show her a handgun that was in his waistband.
The men, Rondy Wilson, 28, and Justin Wilson, 25, went to a home they were staying at a block away, Ramer said.
Each man was arrested on suspicion of one count of aggravated robbery.
Rondy Wilson was released from prison Sept. 29 after serving four years for aggravated assault. Justin Wilson was released from prison May 24 after serving a year for a drug offense. Ramer said he did not know whether the men are related.
