The Associated Press

Page Too: You’re an Ohio State guy. But now you’re in the NFL. You still hate Michigan?

Chris Wells: Oh, yeah.

PT: Will that always be the case?

CW: Pretty much. I grew up in Ohio, so it just comes natural.

PT: Does it pain you that Michigan is doing well this season?

CW: No, I want to see them do well. They represent the Big Ten. I want to see them do good all the way up until they play Ohio State.

PT: The week of that game, what’s it like on campus?

CW: It’s incredible. We have something called Mirror Lake. On Thursday, every student from campus, probably about 50,000 people, all gather at the lake and jump in.

PT: How different is the feeling the Saturday Ohio State plays Michigan?

CW: It’s the most exciting thing to be a part of. It’s the best rivalry in sports history.

PT: You didn’t lose to Michigan, did you?

CW: Nope. And I’m also the all-time leading rusher in Ohio State-Michigan history.

PT: Three of your teammates are from Michigan: Alan Branch, Steve Breaston and Gabe Watson. Do they say anything to you?

CW: They can’t say nothing. I think they only beat Ohio State one time.
