Chandler firm wins NASA safety contract

Chandler-based Banda Group International LLC has been awarded a five-year contract to provide occupational safety support services at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

The contract will provide a BGI safety team at the NASA site, where the company will be responsible for implementing and oversight of an institutional safety program.

NASA is the company’s first government client, said President Zeferino Banda.

BGI belongs to the Chandler Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
