The search for a missing Mesa woman who was considered suicidal ended Wednesday when she was found unconscious in the desert.
According to Sgt. Ed Wessing, Mesa police spokesman, Leslie Ann Grant, 51, was found in eastern Maricopa County and taken to a hospital.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has taken over the investigation, Wessing said.
Grant, who had made suicide attempts and suffers from severe depression, was missing since Monday.
Her car was found Tuesday in the area of Hunt Highway and Gary in Queen Creek.
