Mesa police search for missing woman

Mesa police are searching for a missing 51-year-old Mesa woman who may be suicidal.

Leslie Grant has been missing since Monday, and last had contact with her family by text message early Tuesday morning, Mesa police spokesman Sgt. Ed Wessing said in a release.

Grant’s vehicle was found parked in the area of Hunt Highway and Gary in Queen Creek on Tuesday.

She has made suicide attempts in the past and suffers from severe depression, Wessing said.

Several agencies are involved in the search for Grant.
