Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Dan Haren and outfielder Justin Upton were selected for the National League All-Star team, which was announced Sunday morning.
A third D-Backs player, infielder Mark Reynolds, is one of five players competing for the squad's final spot, which will be decided by fan voting.
The 80th All-Star Game will be played July 14 in St. Louis.
It will be the third straight All-Star appearance for Haren, who entered Sunday's game against Colorado with a 7-5 record and a league-best 2.19 ERA.
Upton, hitting .301 with 14 home runs and 45 RBI going into Sunday, will be making his first appearance.
In the "Final Vote," Reynolds will be pitted against Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, Philadelphia outfielder Shane Victorino, San Francisco infielder Pablo Sandoval and Washington shortstop Cristian Guzman for the squad's 33rd roster spot.
St. Louis first baseman Albert Pujols was the NL's leading vote-getter.
