Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who failed to return his 9-year-old son after a scheduled court-ordered weeklong visitation.
James Anthony Kaiser failed to return his son, Benjamin Kaiser-Griffin, on May 21, Chandler police said. The two haven’t been seen or heard from since.
Kaiser has expressed wanting to live in Hawaii and has taken Benjamin there in the past, police said.
Kaiser is believed to have moved from his residence in Tempe because it now is vacant, and he is known to have contacts in Washington and Mexico.
If Kaiser and Benjamin are found, the boy will be returned to his mother, who has full custody of him, police said.
If anyone has any information, they can call Chandler Police Department at (480) 782-4130.
