ArmorWorks Enterprises, a Chandler-based company that makes protective gear for U.S. combat troops, has signed an eight-year lease for 80,167 square feet of space in 10 Chandler, an office park at 500 N. 54th St.
The deal marks the largest industrial lease in the south East Valley in the past year, according to Lincoln Property Co., owner of 10 Chandler.
ShockRide, a division of ArmorWorks, will moved to 10 Chandler on May 20, said Mark Phillips, general manager of ShockRide.
The division makes special vehicle seats designed to protect troops in blasts from mines and improvised explosive devices. The company said it will assemble more than 12,000 seats this year.
