Bordow: Super Bowl letdown memories linger
Q: You’re going to play in the Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe in July. Which are you looking forward to more: That or training camp?
A: Training camp. Because I can crash and burn in that tournament.
Q: How’s your game?
A: Hopefully by then it will be good. That’s going to be my excuse to get out and play a little more.
Q: Do you think you can contend with guys like Rick Rhoden?
A: If I get enough time to practice and prepare, yeah, I think I can contend. But that will be my excuse if I don’t. I didn’t have enough time to practice.
Q: So if you get paired with Charles Barkley, do you wear a helmet and shoulder pads?
A: I’ll just make sure I don’t ever get in front of him.
