DOLAN SPRINGS - The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a gunman who assaulted a Dolan Springs elementary school teacher.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Trish Carter says a $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man.
Mt. Tipton Elementary School in Dolan Springs was locked down Tuesday after authorities received reports of a gunman on campus.
Carter says no shots were fired, and deputies searched the school for more than an hour before the children were released.
She says deputies increased patrols Wednesday in and around the school. She says the man, who was wearing a black baseball cap and a ski mask, hasn't been found.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office at (928) 753-0753.
