Chandler police seek bank robber

Chandler police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a robber who took an undisclosed amount of cash from Chase Bank branch inside a Basha’s grocery store on Saturday.

Man robs Chandler bank

A black man, possibly between the ages of 20 to 25, walked into the Chase Bank at 1920 W. Chandler Blvd., about 1:15 p.m. Saturday and passed a note to a teller demanding cash, according to police.

The man was about 6-foot-4-inches tall, had a medium build and was wearing black knee-length shorts, green and white plaid shirt and a green fisherman’s hat with sunglasses.

Anyone with information can call Chandler police at (480) 782-4130.
