Armed robber takes cash from 2 men in Mesa

Mesa police say a man robbed two victims near 2355 S. Alma School Road early today. Police say two men reported that at 12:40 a.m. they were walking in the neighborhood looking for a party when a man pointed what they believe was a hand gun at them and demanded money. He was given cash and a bus pass and left by vehicle. The victims could not describe the vehicle or the weapon. The robber is described as possibly a 6-foot-tall black male, about 190 lbs. They believe he was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
